Digital Downloads
Due to the nature of our products as digital downloads, we have a strict no-return and no-refund policy. Once a digital product has been purchased and the download link has been provided, the sale is considered final.
Why We Have a No-Return Policy on Digital Goods
- Irreversible Downloads: Our products are instantly accessible and downloadable. Once a file is downloaded, it cannot be “returned” in the same way a physical product can.
- Preventing Unauthorized Use: This policy helps protect our copyrighted materials from unauthorized distribution and misuse.
What This Means for You
- All sales of digital downloads from Clarinetinstitute.com are final.
- We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for digital products.
Exceptions to Our Policy
We understand that technical issues can sometimes occur. A refund may be considered only under the following limited circumstances:
- Duplicate Purchase: If you accidentally purchase the same digital product more than once.
- Technical Fault: If you encounter a verifiable technical issue with the download that prevents you from accessing the product, and our support team is unable to resolve it.
If you believe your situation meets one of these exceptions, please contact our support team at info@clarinetinstitute.com with your order number and a detailed description of the issue.
We strive to ensure every customer has a positive experience. By purchasing our digital downloads, you agree to this return and refund policy.
Because our products are digital information, they are non-refundable. Here are some specifics:
Flash Drives
When you receive a flash drive, back it up immediately! Flash drives do not last forever. We warranty our flash drives for 2 weeks after you receive them. That gives you plenty of time to make a back up copy. We do this because flash drives are very sensitive to many different environmental factors that can cause them to fail while in your home. We cannot control what you do with your flash drive after you get it, so we cannot guarantee that the flash drive is going to work months later.
We have people write to us saying, “I bought a flash drive six months ago and now it doesn’t work…..” Our response is always the same, “Please access the backup copy you made when you first received the flash drive.”
We have people write to us saying, “I bought a CD 3 years ago and now it doesn’t work…..” Our response is always the same, “Please access the backup copy you made when you first received the disc.”
Damaged flash drives – If you receive a damaged flash drive that doesn’t work, please contact us immediately. Keep in mind that what appears to be a faulty flash drive may actually be a software issue on your end. We will work with you to try to identify what the problem is and solve it. If the problem can’t be solved then we will mail a replacement flash drive to you.
